This screen print is an ode to my family woven together through personal symbolism. The Black Eyed Susans represent my grandma and her garden. When she passed, we replanted the flowers as a symbol of an enduring legacy. The repeating cardinal represents an array of family members. In the picture of myself, I have collaged images of my parents and brother representing how their love and guidance have shaped who I am.
