This work uses surrealism to explore the complexities of enduring through struggle. Based on a cherished willow statue from my childhood bedroom, it symbolizes familial love and compassion as guiding lights. The piece also juxtaposes this emotional warmth with the inherited reality of a genetic heart condition in my family, reflecting both vulnerability and resilience passed down through generations.
