A still life painting infused with comedy. I sought to convey the imaginary duck’s sinister and menacing character. Set against a backdrop of a book, candle holder, and flickering candle, the duck emerges amidst the flames. The composition is deliberately angled from below to heighten the intense interaction between the viewer and the duck.
